Changes in dental guidance from NHS England and a better supply of PPE means we are now able to start seeing our patients again for essential dental procedures at the practice.
Please note all patients must still have a remote telephone triage with the dentist before they can be seen face-to-face this is so we can risk assess those attending the practice, ensure both patient and staff safety and make sure we are able to address your dental problem.
Here at Hook Lane Dental Care, we are following the Government Guidelines and the regulations set by the General Dental Council and the British Dental Association.
At present we are not accepting new adult NHS patients, any patient who has not been to the practice since Dec 2017 will only be seen on a private basis until further notice. This has been our practice procedure since July 2019, it is an enforced procedure.
Despite recent media claims that ‘UK Dental practices were open from Monday 8th June 2020’ please note we have re-opened for essential dental treatments only, we are not booking non-urgent visits and currently we do not know when this will change.
